COMPANY RECORDS OF PAST PROJECTS

BUILDINGS
Incheon International Airport, South Korea

Specialty:
          It is the largest airport in South Korea and one of the largest and busiest in the world. Since 2005, it has been consecutively rated as the best airport in the world by the Airports Council International and received the full 5-star ranking by Skytrax.                   
                  

De Unique Construction Co. Ltd. constructed the Incheon International Airport with the cooperation of the Terry Farrell & Partners which recommendation from the Terry Farrell the leader of the company. This project had successfully done after eight years of construction by 2001.



Q1 (Queensland Number One), Australia

Location: Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast, Australia
Height: Antenna or spire – 323m (1058 ft)
            Roof – 275m (902 ft)
Constructed: 2002 - 2005
Opened: November 2005
Specialty:

           It is the world’s tallest residential tower, the tallest building in Australia and the second-tallest free-standing structure in the Southern Hemisphere. The building was the Silver Award winner of the 2005 Emporis Skyscraper Award.

De Unique Construction Co. Ltd. constructed Q1 building in the cooperation of the Sunland Construction Company. De Unique got this project of building Q1 by the recommendation of the designer, Atelier SDG. De Unique and the Sunland Construction Company had successfully complete constructed this building in 2005.


BRIDGES


Woodlands Causeway Bridge (Johor & Singapore)

  • -          Located in Woodlands, a district in northern Singapore.
  • -          Links the City of Johor Bahru in Malaysia across the Straits of Johor to the town of Woodlands in Singapore

Total Length: 1,056 meters
Opened: December 16, 2008
Specialty: 
            It serves as a road, rail, and pedestrian link, as well as water piping into Singapore.
De Unique Construction Co. Ltd. constructed The Woodlands Causeway Bridge in cooperation with many others company in building this bridge. This long road is often used by Singaporeans visiting Malaysia for work, shopping or holiday purposes, and vice versa. Closer to home, Woodlands houses HDB flats, condominiums and numerous schools. Singapore's first sports school (Singapore Sports School) and Singapore's fifth polytechnic (Republic Polytechnic) are also located here. A popular landmark here is Causeway Point, Singapore's largest suburban shopping mall. The mall houses department store (Metro and John Little), an assortment of lifestyle stores and Cathay Cinema, just to name a few. De Unique is one of the most efficient and trustworthy construction companies in the world. De Unique and other companies successfully completed the bridge in 2008. The new customs complex went into full operation on 16 December 2008 at 12 midnight sharp, closing down the old customs complex.

The Rion-Antirion Bridge/The Charilaos Trikoupis Bridge

              World's longest multi-span cable-stayed bridge
 De Unique Construction Co. Ltd. constructed The Charilaos Trikoupis Bridge with the cooperation of the Greece companies Hellenic Technodomiki-TEV, J&P-Avax, Athena, Proodeftiki and Pantechniki and a French group Vinci. De Unique got the project by the recommendation of the lead architect, Berdj Mikaelian, for being one of the most efficient and trustworthy construction companies in the world. De Unique and other companies successfully completed the bridge in 2004 and the bridge was opened in August 7, 2004.

CARS



BMW Gina Concept

Specialty: Made from textile fabric, shape shifting car.
Date Launched: 10th June 2008.
Award won: Car Design of The Year Awards 2008

The award winning BMW Gina concept is the product between the cooperation among De Unique Construction Co. Ltd, Aixam Mega Ltd, and Vauxhall Design Co. Ltd. De Unique was selected to participate in this project due to our previous achievements. This project started on the 23th February 2005, and completed successfully in the beginning of year 2008. It was launched on the 10th of June, 2008 and in that year itself, it is desired by millions around the world when it won the Car Design of the Year Awards 2008.




The 3rd Generation Toyota Prius Hybrid

Speciality :
 Usage of a new range of plant-derived ecological bio-plastics, made out of cellulose derived from wood or grass instead of petroleum.

Date Launched :  January 2009

Award won : “Toughest Cars on the Road” by Forbes.com, and also named as the “Most Dependable Compact Car”.

            Toyota combined ideas and work force with De Unique Construction Co. Ltd to release the 3rd Generation Toyota Prius Hybrid. It was debuted in January 2009 at the North American International Auto Show. It has a new body design which is more aerodynamic, with the coefficient of drag reduced to 0.25 Cd. It also has an underbody rear fin that helps stabilize the vehicle at higher speeds. The estimated fuel-efficiency rating, using the U.S. EPA combined cycle, is 50 mpg-US. The Prius was known for its most efficient car powered by liquid fuel that was available in the U.S. in 2009. The larger engine displacement allows for increased torque, reducing engine speeds (RPM), which improves fuel economy at highway speeds. Thanks to its electric water pump, the Prius engine is the first consumer automotive production engine that requires no accessory belts, which also further improves its fuel economy. Forbes.com has name the 3rd Generation Toyota Prius Hybrid as one of the “Toughest Cars on the Road”.
